Art Statement -Random Lines, a childhood pareidolie in action
Unpremeditated and random lines lead to a unknown place with unknown end. A form is revealed from the pattern created by the abstract lines and that informs me the next steps: completing the gaps, add or not color.
The themes are related to inspiring wildlife, fauna and flora, most of the time.
Art Statement - Collective Art Style
Art works are based on observation of nature from an aesthetic point of view where the asymmetry, the shapes, the colors harmonies bring true joy as we are part of it, a Japanese infuence.
Cultural scenes, but also urban architecture, are other passions beside nature and they are equally source of inspiration.

Biography
Artist
Tania is a Brazilian, living in Switzerland since 2006. Besides of being a passionate artist, Tania is a biologist and clinical research scientist.
From very young age, and inspired by her artistic mother, Tania found her passion and talent for artistic drawings, most of the initial artistic work was inspired on her mother Anna Luiza talent. As a jewelry maker and designer her mother, gave Tania uncountable incites about art techniques and to be always very close to the nature's aesthetics, a Japanese influence. As an intrinsic child, Tania would discover herself and her freedom in the surrounding patterns part of life and later in the lines she pictured. Not geometric and more organic, Tania’s art was entitled Lyric Abstract, when she was 19 years old.
With her grandfather, she found love for the nature, choosing biology as her major. She pursued Biology Science in 1988, PhD and postdoc in neurophysiology in 1999 (Sao Paulo-Basel).
It was during the last decade that Tania revived her art. She developed her own style, the drawings are result from unpremeditated and spontaneous movement transforming abstract in to figurative with an eye of pareidolia(1) on her own drawings. In 2011, Tania re-discovered watercolor painting. Harmony of colors and delicate forms together with the independent dynamics of the watercolor technic became her inspiration and the base of her work. Recently, Tania merged the watercolor to her black ink drawing techniques and style. In 2019, the same style (and technique) were used on digital media.
Nature and its harmony with urban life have always been the basis inspiration for Tania's art, who not only observes but feels it to build the aesthetic concept by noticing and implementing the asymmetry, color and forms. Harmony and delicacy not only characterizes her technique but also how she sees Nature, which has always been present in Tania’s life. And, in surrounded by nature, Tania found herself home in Switzerland.
